Abrasive wheels course covers the safe handling, selection, inspection, mounting, and operation of abrasive wheels, including understanding the potential hazards associated with their use, proper personal protective equipment (PPE), relevant safety regulations, and how to identify and choose the correct wheel for a specific task, all aimed at minimizing the risk of accidents while using grinding tools in the workplace.

• To gain knowledge and understanding relevant to working at height. • To give candidates an understanding of ladders, step ladders, fall prevention and fall arrest systems, and relevant PPE for working at height.
